The North Carolina Real Estate Commission writes the four-hour Broker In Charge Update (BICUP) real estate course each year. All BIC or BIC-eligible North Carolina real estate license holders who want to renew their licenses for the 2025–2026 license year must complete this 4 hour course, which counts toward the required 8 hours of continuing education every year.
